Retail, Consumer Goods, and E-Commerce Audit & Risk Seminar’, hosted by Bradley Alexander, Hanami. 

This will predominantly be an in-person event (with the option to dial in via Teams, please see below). The next event will take place on 10th October 2024 at our HQ in Mayfair, London, UK.

Information:

Our next seminar will focus on two specific topics: ‘Different delivery options’ i.e. in-sourcing, out-sourcing, and co-sourcing; and ‘Continuous monitoring’ and we have arranged two excellent speakers for you, both commercial audit & risk leaders in your industries.

We would also like to continue to share how companies in your industries are managing emerging and evolving risks, and how IA and risk is responding. For this, we will have a dedicated peer-to-peer exercise towards the end. We will also have structured, and unstructured opportunities for you to network and share ideas throughout too.   

Outline agenda (all UK time):

 

  • 08:30 – 09:00 – Welcome, and breakfast served, and in-person guests should arrive at 0830 (address below)

 

  • 09:00 - 09:30 – Introduction by Bradley, and introduction of attendees. Online guests should join us (via Teams, details below) at 0855 for a 0900 start

 

  • 09:30 – 10:30 - 1st session – Presentation, Q&A, break-out session - “IA delivery model options”

 

Presentation and discussion on both sides of a co-source model, including the pros & cons of each, sharing experiences of how to make your delivery model successful

 

  • 10:30 - 10:45 - Comfort break

 

  • 10:45 - 11:45 - 2nd session – Presentation, Q&A, break-out session - “The opportunities and risks of continuous monitoring”

 

We will explore how continuous auditing can enhance real-time company business and financial oversight while addressing potential challenges in implementation and security.

 

  • 11:45 - 12:00 - Peer to peer Q&A session, wrap-up, and close no later than 1200.
